Help & learning

Know what to check before you act.

No report does not mean bad credit.

You can plan repayments without a score. Debit-card or wallet activity is not automatically reported as positive credit history.

A report is a dated snapshot.

Confirm balances, payment status and dates against your institution statements. Missing fields are unknown. Different bureau scores are not interchangeable.

Repayment planning is not loan approval.

Budget ratios and utilisation calculations are educational. Savvy does not issue loans, move money or guarantee score changes.

Islamic financing: use actual terms.

Record contractual amounts and dates. Profit, rental and principal depend on the product. This app does not provide a fatwa or claim Shariah certification.

Verify the legal lender.

Check the regulator and the current approved-app list, not just a brand name. Never share OTPs, bureau passwords or someone else’s report.

Fraud needs immediate action.

Contact your institution immediately and use the competent official cybercrime channel where applicable. Savvy cannot investigate or guarantee recovery.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get my own credit report (Tasdeeq or DataCheck)?

Request it directly from a licensed credit bureau such as Tasdeeq or DataCheck through their official website or app, using your own CNIC. You can also ask your bank for your SBP eCIB report. Savvy never requests a report on your behalf and only works with a report you choose to share.

What is the Savvy credit-health estimate, and what is it not?

It is an educational summary of the habits lenders tend to look at, such as on-time payments and how much of your limits you use, based on the records you enter or share. It is not a bureau score, not a lending decision and not a guarantee of approval or of any score change.

Why do my scores differ between bureaus?

Each bureau receives data from a different mix of banks, microfinance providers and other lenders, updates on its own schedule and uses its own scoring model and scale. Small differences are normal. If an account or payment looks wrong, raise it with that bureau or the lender.

Do “buy now, pay later” plans affect my credit?

They can. Many BNPL and instalment providers in Pakistan are regulated lenders and may report to the eCIB or private bureaus, so a missed instalment can show up like any other late payment. Add each plan as a repayment in Savvy so its due dates sit alongside your other commitments.

Is reading my report with AI required?

No. AI reading is optional and asks for its own consent each time. You can always enter your accounts and repayments by hand instead, and every planning feature works without it.

How do reminders work?

Reminders are based on the due dates you enter for bills and repayments. They tell you something is coming up and never include amounts, balances or account details. You can switch them off for a single repayment or in your account settings at any time.

How do I complain about a bank, lender or bureau?

Start with the institution’s own complaint channel and keep the reference number. If it is not resolved, banks and microfinance banks can be escalated to the State Bank of Pakistan’s Sunwai portal or the Banking Mohtasib, and NBFCs and other SECP-regulated lenders to the SECP complaint portal. Savvy’s complaint assist helps you draft the message, but you send it yourself.

How is my data protected, and how do I delete it?

Your records are encrypted, never sold and never used for advertising, and no financial information is sent to analytics, marketing or chat tools. You can export your data or permanently delete your account from your account settings at any time.
